Abstract:

Background and Objective: The aim of this study was to measure the shear bond strength of composite resin to human dentin surface bonded with three different bonding systems.Subjects and Methods: The crown surface of 66 extracted human third molar teeth were abraded with trimer in a wet environment until the dentin surface was exposed, and they were polished with silicon carbide paper 400 and 600 grit. Then, all the smooth smear layer samples were randomly classified into three equal groups. We used bonding according to the instruction of the manufacturer (the first group Single Bond, the second group BC PLUS and third group Charm Bond). Then, the composite resin was bonded to the tooth surface by plastic tube (diameter: 1.8 mm, height: 5mm).Finally, shear bond strength was determined by universal testing machine (LMT 100).Results: The variance analysis (ANOYA) P value=0.000 revealed the mean of shear bond strength is different between three groups. The mean shear bond far first, second and third groups are 15.25 MP, 6.84 MP, 8.59 MP, respectively. The multiple comparison with THKEY test showed that there is different significance between group one and the other two groups which did not differ significantly. Conclusion: All in all, we found out that greatest shear bond strength to dentin is the American Single Bond, which is better than Korean product (BC PLUS and charm Bond).

Abstract:

Introduction: Dentinal canal walls are in direct contact with endodontic sealers prior to post space preparation and luting cements after post space preparation. This direct contact may affect the bond strength of intraradicular posts to root dentin. This study aimed to assess the effect of three different sealers on the bond strength of fiber posts to root dentin. Methods and Materials: The canals of 56 extracted single-rooted human premolars after selection and decoronation were prepared. For obturation of the canals, specimens were randomly divided into four groups (n=14) according to the type of sealer used in conjunction with gutta-percha: group 1 (control) without any sealer; group 2 with AH-PLUS sealer (resin based); group 3 with Dorifill sealer (ZOE-based); and group 4 with BC Sealer (calcium silicate-based). Nine mm-deep post space was prepared in the canal of each specimen. Intraradicular fiber posts were cemented using dual-cure resin cement (Panavia F2. 0). Sections of 1 mm thickness were made at the coronal, middle and apical thirds of the post space of each specimen. The push-out bond strength of post to root dentin was measured in a universal testing machine. The data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA and post-hoc Tukey’ s test. Results: The mean push-out bond strength in the coronal third was significantly lower in Dorifill group compared to AH-PLUS (P=0. 004). This value was significantly lower in BC Sealer group than AH-PLUS (P=0. 000) and control group (P=0. 03). In middle and apical thirds, the mean push-out bond strength was not significantly different among the four groups (P=0. 407, P=0. 065, respectively). The mean push-out bond strength was significantly lower in apical than coronal third in AH-PLUS group (P=0. 001). Conclusion: Application of BC Sealer and Dorifill decreased the mean push-out bond strength of intracanal post to root dentin in the coronal third in comparison to AH-PLUS.

Abstract:

2Hot corrosion and thermally grown oxide (TGO) formation are destructive factors in thermal barrier coatings (TBCs) that lead to coating failure under operational conditions. In the present study, the hot corrosion behavior and TGO evolution for TBCs whose Bond coat by deposited by atmospheric plasma spraying (APS) and high velocity oxygen fuel (HVOF) thermal spray methods were evaluated. Both types of coatings were subjected to cyclic hot corrosion testing at a temperature of 1100°C in the presence of molten salts of Na2SO4 and V2O5 under identical conditions. Subsequently, their microstructures were examined using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) images. Additionally, changes in TGO thickness were measured across different cycles using Image J software and SEM images. The results indicate that TBCs deposited using the HVOF method for the bond coat exhibit better performance compared to those deposited using the APS method. The results show that a phase change from tetragonal to monoclinic has occurred for zirconia with the penetration of corrosive salt melt and its reaction with the YSZ layer, and also with the depletion of yttria from the coating structure, YVO4 reaction products have been formed for TBCs. The endurance of hot corrosion cycle of TBCs and the growth behavior of TGO show that the coatings whose interface layer is applied by the HVOF method show better performance than the APS method.

Abstract:

Deoxys is a final-round candidate of the CAESAR competition. Deoxys is built upon an internal tweakable block cipher Deoxys-BC, where in addition to the plaintext and key, it takes an extra non-secret input called a tweak. This paper presents the first impossible differential cryptanalysis of Deoxys-BC-256 which is used in Deoxys as an internal tweakable block cipher. First, we find a 4.5-round ID characteristic by utilizing a miss-in-the-middle-approach. We then present several cryptanalysis based upon the 4.5 rounds distinguisher against round-reduced Deoxys-BC-256 in both single-key and related-key settings. Our contributions include impossible differential attacks on up to 8-round Deoxys-BC-256 in the single-key model. Our attack reaches 9 rounds in the related-key related-tweak model which has a slightly higher data complexity than the best previous results obtained by a related-key related-tweak rectangle attack presented at FSE 2018, but requires a lower memory complexity with an equal time complexity.

Abstract:

Equality of hh -curvatures of the Berwald and Cartan connections leads to a new class of Finsler metrics, so-called BC-generalized Landsberg metrics. Here, we prove that every BC-generalized Landsberg metric of scalar flag curvature with dimension greater than two is of constant flag curvature.

Abstract:

In this paper, we introduce the notion of hyper pseudo BC K - algebras, which is a generalization of pseudo BC K -algebras and hyper BC K -algebras and we investigates some related properties. In follow, we define some kinds of hyper pseudo BC K -ideals of a hyper pseudo BC K - algebra and we find the relations among them. Finally, we characterize the hyper pseudo BC K -ideals of type 4 generated by a nonempty subset.
